Just as the weather can affect tone
Sometimes a small incident can change an
outcome entirely
Like how I met her when heard her playing Beethoven in a room full of
trash
And then again, the Mozart for two
pianos that we played in a small practice room
No matter how tough it is,
And no matter how endless the battle
seems,
Because we find joy in the end,
We can keep tackling those challenges
We still have a long way to go
But I think we’ve taken a strong step
forward
The notes that were written hundreds of
years ago
Are bringing together a couple of
different origin,
Different sex, different eye color,
different everything
By letting them imagine the same music
Just as one note made me come to terms
with someone I thought I could never get along with
They’re attracted to each other
You went your separate ways, yet came
back together
